Billy Beezer's Garden Butterflies |
| I believe I took these two pictures in the spring of 2002. They both have black at the base of their hindwings, and have pale gray patches at the forewing tips and outer margins of both wings. I originally thought they were dull male Sachems, but they lack the outer margin fringe the Sachem has on its wings. |

This butterfly also looks like a male Sachem, with the exception of the black markings on its hindwing and thicker forewing spots. It's possible the black markings are just missing scales. |
 |
I suspect this butterfly might be a Tawny-edged Skipper, but can't say for sure. It has a pair of small orangey spots near the forewing tip, and another pair of spots closer to its body. |

I have absolutely no idea what kind of butterfly this might be. |
 |
This butterfly looks a lot like Skipper C, but it lacks the fore wing spots, and appears to have more pointed forewings. |

I originally had this butterfly listed as a Zabulon Skipper. Upon closer inspection, it doesn't appear to be a Zabulon after all. |
