I think this might be an Asiatic Lily.  I have three of them planted in my bed of pachysandra.  I started them from a bulb somebody had given me.  They bloom for about 2½ weeks in late June or early July.  The one pictured here had 40 flowers in 2004.  I dug this one up and replanted the bulblets.
