I have ten Wood Hyacinths (Spanish Bluebells, squills) growing in some periwinkle underneath my redbud tree. They bloom for about two weeks in late spring, but are an unforgettable sight. They give off a light fragrance. Most of the plants have five stems, which grow about 1½' tall. They grow best in shade and are supposed to reseed themselves if allowed to. |
