I only do u.s. trades - no foreign trades or sase's
All the seeds I have for trade were collected from open-pollinated plants, thoroughly dried, kept refrigerated, and are relatively chaff-free. You will receive fully ripened, mature seeds. I do not retrade seeds that I have obtained through other trades. The number of seeds I am offering and requesting is negotiable. Feel free to ask for more than one packet. If you are not sure of the species of seed you have to trade, please inform me of this before offering it to me.
I send all my seeds in bubble-wrap to prevent postage machines from crushing the seeds, and I expect all seeds I receive to be mailed the same way. Seeds mailed this way require 51¢ postage. I also place cardboard on each side of the bubble-wrap to prevent the envelope from being ripped open during processing.
I have included some gardening information on each of my plant pages. This information is only a guide, as there are no absolutes in gardening. Information regarding the size and flowering times of my plants is only an estimate. I haven't gone out and measured them, or kept records of when they bloom. I might do that in the future, though. Even so, you may get different results due to your geographic location, amount of sunlight, and soil conditions (structure, fertility, acidity, and moisture).
At the bottom of each page is a table of plant requirements, which includes agricultural zone, sunlight and soil requirements. These were compiled from several sources, including books, seed catalogs, and my own experiences. I have found that some sources often contradict one another. Please do your own research before attempting to grow a particular plant. I usually list two ranges for the agricultural zone. The first range is the one which all my sources agree. The second includes the northernmost and southernmost zones that some (and in some cases most) of the sources claim.
